28 out of 34 lawmakers at the Lagos State Assembly who spoke at the plenary early this week called for the impeachment of the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode over alleged gross misconduct, while 6 others asked the governor to resign.

This opens the impeachment process of the state governor by the lawmakers over what they referred to as atrocities bordering on gross misconduct and extravagant spending of unknown and unapproved budget.

Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa said there was need for the House to give Ambode a last chance to appear before the House to explain the allegations and infractions levelled against him.

The governor did nothing to stop d killing, as for d anti-open grazing law, its not effective, courtesy of d governor. Till date, one can see herdsmen roaming, those he asked to champion the enforcement of d law;
1) He don't pay them to do the job,
2) The Agatu youths take it on their self to arrest any herdsman seen roaming freely but if they do, nothing will they hear of the arrested herdsman.
Benue ppl are aware of d governor tactics of using media to attract sympathy, he is a total failure and may b disappointed in the coming days.
