Six Roads, PHC, Schools And Other Goodies For Alimosho In 2019 by AyindeJamiu: 11:59pm On Feb 01, 2019
Ahead of the presentation of 2019 budget to the legislative arm of Alimosho Local Government. The communiqué of the retreat held between 3rd and 5th of January, 2019 at West House Hotels and Suite is filled with abundant dividend of democracy for the people of Alimosho Local Government.

The budget which is ready for presentation to the legislative arm on 31st of January proposed the construction of six new roads across Alimosho Local Government which include Azeez Ayorinde, Adeboun/Abeokuta, Oyinlola, Benster, Abati/Alhaji Osho, Kasali/Ibraheem Moradeyo and Igbeyinadun streets. Ogo Olowa street is also scheduled to be completed as well as the ongoing administrative building.

In the area of education, funitures, school uniforms, exercise books among others will be provided for students in public primary school across Alimosho. The administration further proposed the construction of new structures in two primary schools in Alimosho.

On health, furnitures and medical equipments will be provided for Akowonjo Primary Health Center while a new modern primary health center is proposed to be constructed at Igbehinadun (Ward B). The existing health center will see a face lift.

Achieving all these proposed projects depends on the prompt payment of our levies to the local government. It is in the light of this that the government proposed extension of revenue collection time from 8:00am to 8:00pm to enable night businesses contributes their quota to the development of Alimosho Local Government.

The members of the public are also advised to demand for individual receipt after payment of rates. All houses should endavour to pay their radio and television rates, these will enable the government to give more to the people. The government also wishes to inform the public on renumbering of streets during this budget year.

These are but few from the communiqué reached at the three days budget retreat. We pray God Almighty spare our lives to witness the implementation of all these wonderful projects in Alimsoho. Lets pay our rates to the local government and encourage others to do same, so that we can all maximize the enjoyment of the developmental projects brought to us by the administration of Hon. Jelili Sulaimon.
