Remember Instagram user, @bossladybadii, who went viral after she vowed to go on a 21 days fasting for Nigerian singer, Wizkid, well, she has updated us.

According to her, Wizkid’s win at Mobo awards is proof that her God is a wonder working God and her fasting is not in vain, she added that she won’t stop until Wizkid comes home with a Grammy.

Department of Health’s spokesperson, Thabiso Teffo says emergency services stabilized the baby and he was taken to the Zebediela Hospital.

Sadly, new reports say that the infant died in hospital while receiving medical attention.

The suspect is due to appear before the Magatle Periodical Court soon on a charge of attempted murder.

“The suspect in this matter has appeared before the Matlala Periodical Court for murder, she was released on warning and the case was postponed to 18 December 2017 for further police investigations to take place,” Ngoepe explained.

The Provincial Commissioner, Lt.General Nneke Ledwaba, has condemned these acts, especially in the duration of 16 days of activism on violence against women and children.

Furthermore, Ledwaba has sent a stern warning to those taking part in these ‘heinous acts’, that they will be dealt with harshly without compromise.

“Mothers are supposed to be the nurturers and protectors of children. It is now becoming a regular tendency and members of the community are advised to consult the helping professionals for family problems, with some departments, such as the Department of Social Development offering these services for free,” concluded Ledwaba.

The body of a young girl simply identified as Miss Vanisah was found dumped on Tuesday morning along The Manjai Kunda Junction, in Banjul, Gambia after being beaten, raped and killed by her captives.

According to statement issued by The Gambia Police, a man is under custody for alleged involvement in the death of Miss Vanisah.

A Nigerian father and son from Anambra State, who both died after a brief illness will be buried on the same day.

A Facebook user, Kingsley Braen Nze Osisikankwu, who took to the social media platform to mourn them, revealed that the late Insp. Nobert Ifeukwu Udu, 75, and his son Mr. Francis Chetachukwu Udu, 27, died on 5th and 12th of October respectively, suffered the same sickness.

The late inspector and his son will be buried on the 1st of December, 2017, at their hometown, Amawbia in Awka South Local Government of Anambra State.

Mrs. Maryam Sanda has been arraigned for allegedly killing of her husband, Bilyamin Bello,a son of former PDP Chairman, before an FCT High Court in Abuja, just as the court ordered her to be remanded in Suleja Prison custody.
According to Saharareporters, she was arraigned for offense bordering on culpable homicide. Maryam could not control her emotion as she burst into tears upon her arrival at the court, holding her seven month old baby. .

Maryam covered her face a with green scarf to prevent being photographed by the media. Before the commencement of the court proceedings, she read from the Quran. .

The suspect entered the dock to take her plea and pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of homicide. The defense counsel, Hussein Musa, asked the court to let the defendant be in the police custody arguing that she is still a nursing mother and would be improper to be remanded in prison custody. .

The presiding judge, Yusuf Halilu, ruled that suspect be remanded in Suleja prison and the matter has been adjourned to December 7th for further hearing.

Miss India, Manushi Chhillar Emerges Miss World 2017

Manushi Chhillar (born 14 May 1997) is an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World 2017. She was previously crowned Femina Miss India 2017 on 25 June 2017. Chhillar is the sixth Indian woman to win Miss World, and the first since Priyanka Chopra won Miss World 2000.

Early and personal life

Chhillar was born to doctor parents in Haryana. Her father, Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, is a scientist at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, while her mother, Dr. Neelam Chhillar, is an associate professor and department head of neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences

Chhillar studied at St. Thomas' School in New Delhi, and is pursuing a medical degree at the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonipat. She is a trained Kuchipudi dancer, and has trained under legendary dancers Raja and Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy. Chhillar has also attended the National School of Drama.

Pageantry

On 25 June 2017, Chhillar took part in the Femina Miss India 2017 competition, representing the state of Haryana. During the competition, Chhillar was crowned Miss Photogenic, and went on to win the competition as well, earning the right to represent India at the Miss World 2017 competition.

At Miss World 2017, Chhillar became a semifinalist in the Top Model, People's Choice, and Multimedia competitions, while she was a co-winner of the Beauty with a Purpose competition. Chhillar's Beauty with a Purpose project was Project Shakti. The campaign's goal is to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene. She visited about 20 villages for the project and treated over 5,000 women. On 18 November 2017, Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 by outgoing titleholder Stephanie Del Valle. She became the sixth Indian woman to win the crown, and the first since Priyanka Chopra won Miss World 2000.

Barely 48 hours after multiple vehicles accident on Kara bridge (Ogun State) stretch of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway killed five and injuring 17 others, another multiple accidents on same bridge have left two dead and six persons injured.

The accident which occurred on Saturday afternoon, involved a Mazda bus marked SGM 530 XA, Grand Cherokee with registration number JJJ 520 DY and Ogun BRT bus marked XA 354 APP.

Operatives of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency(TRACE), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Police and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were sighted clearing obstruction, directing traffic and assisting victims.

It was learnt that one of the vehicles going in the direction of Lagos, rammed into another from, following brake failure and set off a chain of multiple accidents afterwards, according to the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi.

Akinbiyi stated that two persons – male and female, died in the accident while six others were injured.

This much was disclosed to SportingLife by a top Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) executive member who was in Russia.

It was understood that the players already knew how much will come to them before the match.
“The players are entitled to a flat rate of $2,000 for being part of the squad for any international friendly ahead of the World Cup and they are all aware of it” Our source disclosed.

It was gathered that the NFF are already considering options of organising more international friendly matches for the Eagles before the World Cup begins in Russia next year.
