Buhari's Attempt To Install A Puppet CJN: Onnoghen Will NOT Resign by ChimaAgbalajob: 4:27pm On Feb 03, 2019
Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen has again made it clear that he will not submit to intimidation by Buhari and resign his position as the CJN to pave way for Buhari to appoint a puppet and destroy the judiciary.

Buhari offered CJN Water Onnoghen a total withdrawal of the trumped up charges if he resigned as the CJN. However, the CJN refused such corrupt offers insinuating he was guilty about not declaring all his assets, which he subsequently declared in line with the provisions of the law. The CJN has therefore requested that the case follow it's due process in the courts rather than some shady deals offered by the executive so that they will destroy the Judiciary arm of government by appointing puppets as CJN and Supreme court judges.

History will be benevolent to CJN Walter Onnoghen for standing up in defence of democracy, due process and the rule of law.

Based on the sudden focus on assets declaration, one is compelled to wonder why the assets of Fashola, Amaechi, and even Buhari are continuously shielded from the public in line with the law.

"Where such a person makes a written admission accepting the assets in contention, no reference to the CCT shall be necessary".

So says our law.

Onnoghen should never resign

Must there always be a loophole to explore in all our laws?

Section 3 of the CCB Act does not criminalise forgetfulness.

The section says that “the Code of Conduct Bureau is empowered to receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of this Act and where the Bureau considers it necessary to do so, refers such complaints to the Code of Conduct Tribunal established by section 20 of this Act in accordance with the provisions of sections 20 to 25 of this Act:

“Provided that where the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or non-compliance, no reference to the tribunal shall be necessary.”

Nigerians will remember Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen as the man that blocked tyranny and lawlessness from taking root in Nigeria.

CJN Walter Onnoghen actually reexamined his declaration and included other assets which were not in the initial declaration. If Buhari did not have the odious plot to install a puppet, he would have seen that no infringement on the law was made. So, why is Buhari surrounding the house of CJN Onnoghen with security forces and speedily swearing in Tanko Mohammed as CJN when the National Judicial Council had not examined the issue nor made any recommendations as laid down in the constitution?

As for the hypocrite Tanko Mohammed, who had previously punished other judicial officers for this type of behavior he exhibited by colluding with the executive arm of government to undermine the rule of law. Why did he present himself to be used by Buhari in his coup against the judiciary? The same things he preached against and punished other judicial officer who behaved so badly?

Democracy cannot be practiced unless due process and rule of law is respected.

Exactly. Buhari is intimidating all organs of democracy in his vain effort to rig himself into office.

I can't wait to push Buhari into the awaiting International Police jet that will fly him straight to International Criminal Court (ICC) at Hague to face his human right abuse, terrorism and murder charges before the end of this year.

The way I will personally push him into that plane eh, Nigerians will know how angry we had been with the Islamic terrorist sponsoring President angry
