ABUJA—AHEAD of the February 16 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, and the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have intensified efforts to grab the about seven million votes of Ndigbo in northern part of the country.

While attempts are made to ensure that Buhari get the endorsement of Ndigbo in the north, there appears to be disaffection among the leadership of Ndigbo in the area over what they described as grand plot by a former national vice chairman of PDP, South, Nze Ozichukwu, to hijack the Atiku’s campaign in the north.

Lol. 7M? Igbos don't vote in the North. Few days to election, many igbos always travel to their various states in the east.. So where is the 7M coming from

and they said Southwest, And north west has the largest number of voters. Entire south west registered voters are about 16million, Remove Igbos in lagos and otget southwest and you get 12-13 million voters. now with 10million plus 4million southwest Igbos and 7million in the North, we are looking at approx, 21million Igbo voters. Igbos alone can deliver the presidnecy to whom ever they vote for. Presidont Clueless made a big mistake addressing them as 5%.
