Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the weekend accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to rig the forthcoming general elections by importing foreigners from Niger and Chad Republic into the country to vote in the February 16 elections.

Atiku who made the accusations in Benin City, the Edo State capital, however, urged Edo people to shine their eyes on Election Day to resist any attempt by the APC to rig the election, just as he promised to make job creation and youth development his major focus if elected president on February 16.
