Mobile gaming or gaming on your smartphone has become increasingly popular in the last 5 years. Applications that are available for download can help in battling boredom, connecting with people from across the world, and finding information at your fingertips.

The fact that a lot of these games can be downloaded for free coupled with the fact that they can be accessed on our phones provided we have internet has encouraged the download and use of these games.

In Africa, the focus of gaming companies and the rise of gamers from the continent has lead to an increase in access to games that were not originally available or had to be paid to be gotten before now.

Mobile gaming is now more commonplace especially amongst the young generation who are more active on social media and receive information on where to get the latest games.
