Disclaimer - Anything I say here is my personal opinion and my personal assessment of the candidates. I am not telling anyone who to vote for. Do your own research about each candidate and make your decision on who you want to vote for. Don't vote based on the candidate's ethnicity, religion or because of a bag of rice. Being a president is a job and we are supposed to take a good look at their resume, their CV and ask the tough question, is this person qualified to do the job?
Don't also say we have to vote for the lesser of two evils. There are so many younger candidates running in this election who are also qualified to win the race. The only thing is for the fact that they couldn't work together.
Starting with Buhari. Mr President is running again. I don't think he should. I had great hopes when he became President in 2015 but he is been the greatest disappointment ever. He has some achievements especially in the agricultural sector but he has lots of failures also.
1. During Buhari time, Nigeria now exports agricultural products than it imports. The exports earns the government about 85 billions per quarter.
2.Buhari's administration also launched four initiatives under the special intervention programme.
Number one is feeding school children. They reportedly fed over 9 million students in more than 49,000 public schools in 26 states. And they buy this food from local farmers to encourage local production.
3.The second initiative is called the trader money. An interest free loan for petty trader and artisans. They give them 10,000 naira and if they use the money well and pay it back, they give them more money up till 100,000 naira.
4.The third initiative is called the N-Power which empower unemployed graduates by giving them 30,000. And some of them, they buy them laptops or iPads. This initiative has empowered about 200,000 unemployed graduates in Nigeria.
5. The last of the four initiatives is conditional transfer of 5,000 Naira to the less privileged and to the most vulnerable in the society. They pay it every two months giving people 10,000 each time. They said that about 400,000 household has benefited from this initiative.
The important thing to keep in mind about these initiatives is the population of Nigeria who needs this intervention. Of course, not all Nigerians need the intervention but the percentage of those they have reached compared to those who need it is relatively few. And how are people supposed to survive with 5,000 a month?
6. They are also working on opening ten large scales rice processing plants. In total, they said they will open 40 rice processing plants. Also the government banned importation of rice. And this has really helped local farmers. They also gave fertilizers to farmers.
7.And they signed not too young to run bill although we still cannot see the reflection of that in his administration. Even the minister of youth and sport is 54 years old. After signing that bill, I felt they will allow more younger candidates to participate in the debate. They didn't allow Sowore party to debate.
8. Buhari also commissioned a number of airports and railways that were started during the Goodluck Jonathan administration. He didn't initiate them but I am happy he completed them. He is also constructing the second Niger bridge. And he fixed the yenegoa olobiri road which is Goodluck Jonathan state. And he also started working on the Enugu Onistsha road, Enugu Okigwe as well as Portharcourt express road.
Now to talk about his failures which is a long list.
1. It took him six months to appoint his ministers. And most of them are incompetent. Not one of these ministers stood out for doing an exceptional jobs. We still don't have stable electricity across the country, we still don't have good roads across the country, we still don't have running waters across the country and security has gotten worse. In fact, some people still argue that there is no security anymore in Nigeria.
2. Also Buhari made himself the minister of petroleum. That's just wrong. You are already president. You know Obasanjo did the same thing. He was President, he was Petroleum minister, and also the minister for state for petroleum. They use to call him trinity at a time. I don't think Nigeria presidents should continue this way.
3. Also Buhari administration rescued some chibuck girls and the majority of those girls were returned back by Boko Haram. Of course they most have negotiated with Boko Haram to bring them back. Now, we still have Leah in custody of Boko Haram and some of the chibuck girls. They are not even talking about them anymore.
4. A number of red cross workers were also killed by Boko Haram because no one rescued them. Buhari government did not do enough to rescue them like they would have if they were Buhari's family members. Because those people were kidnapped months before they were executed.
5. Also Buhari has failed to defeat Boko Haram as he promised during his election campaign. There are more than 6,000 Boko Haram fighters as at 2015. By now, they will probably be more than that and we now have two factions of Boko Haram. Meanwhile, he claims he has defeated Boko Haram at least four different times.
6. He also asked for one billion dollars to buy weapons for our soldiers. But our soldiers are now releasing videos expressing the fact that they have no sophisticated weapons to fight with. They said they have no weapon to match that of Boko Haram. So, we don't know what Buhari has done with the one billion dollars. For months now, we have been asking him to explain. His failures to provide adequate weapons for our soldiers has left too many of our soldiers dead.
7. And what shall we say about the herdsmen that have been killing people during the Buhari time? I believe that the biggest fail of this administration is having no regard for human life. It's like they are not even moved. At least 20,000 people that didn't have to die have died under Buhari's watch. Several towns and villages have been completely wiped out by herdsmen in Nigeria and Buhari has refused to declare these herdsmen as terrorists. He declared IPOB as terrorists in 2017 even though they did not kill anybody. If the herdsmen were not fulanis like himself, a lot of people believe he would have declared them as terrorists. But he has refused to. These herdmen displaced more than 80,000 people in Benue state alone.
8. Buhari's biggest weakness is tribalism and nepotism. He has appointed mostly northerners in key positions of security, in key positions of authority. I have nothing absolutely against the northerners but you don't put your people alone in positions of authority, in position of power if truly you have the interest of whole country at heart. If you have the interest of the whole country at heart, you don't do that. You need a president that will make everybody inclusive so that everyone feels represented. Buhari is very tribalistic and he is not hiding it. Also, he surrounds himself with people that do not have the national interest at heart. People like Mama Daura, there have been several reports that these people don't tell him the truth. Even his wife cried out to BBC that the cabals are the one controlling the President. Instead of him to listen to the wife, he said she belongs to the kitchen.
9.Then let's talk about his fight against corruption. His fight against corruption has been one sided. His government is quick to arrest or prosecute people from the opposition party but no one has been successfully prosecuted in his party. Just name a few cases. Buhari has overlooked the case of the governor of Kano despite at least two videos of him collecting five million dollars bribe allegedly. He also overlooked Sanator Abdullahi Adamu for allegedly stealing 50 million naira. Former governor Alihu Bamako for allegedly laundry 50 million naira. Also former governor Godswill Akpabio for allegedly diverting 100 billion from his state treasury. He overlooked Orji Uzo Kalu for allegedly stealing 3.2 billion naira from the state coffers of Abia state. He overlooked Babachir Lawal who claimed he spent 223 million naira to cut grass in IDP camp. And it took Buhari months to fire the finance minister, Adeosun despite her fake NYSC certificate.
10. Also Buhari sent more than 30,000 security operatives to Ekiti state during the election. As well as Osun state. Why? This is what he criticized Goodluck Jonathan for especially when we need the soldiers to be fighting Boko Haram. And why cancel Osun elections when his party did not win.
11.Recession has never been so bad in Nigeria even when they said recession is over on paper. People are still hungry. In Buhari time, Nigeria surpass India in extreme poverty ranking. India is a country with 1.3 billion people. Which means that they have 1.2 billion people more than Nigeria. How can we surpass them in poverty? Millions of people either lost their jobs or didn't get paid. Since Buhari came in, suicide rates in Nigeria went up like crazy. According to reports of World Health Organizations, Nigeria is now no 5 on annual suicide list.
12. Lastly, Buhari has not seen the need to build good hospitals or improve the ones we have simply because he is able to travel abroad for treatment. I have featured world class hospitals even in Ghana built with less money than the ones stolen. Even his daughter, Zahra revealed that the state house clinic in Abuja lacked common paracetamol as well as syringes not to talk about an oxygen tank. And this was a man during his campaign that promised to end medical tourism. Yet he spent more than a hundred days in London receiving medical treatment. He has no initiative to provide good medical facilities for his own people.
13. One more point is the arrest of several journalists and activist that have spoken against his conduct. Some of them are still in prison. Bring back our girls protesters were harassed by police. How do you bring Armored tank on people that are protesting and how do you fire tear gas on people who are protesting for the release of kidnapped girls? More than 100 women were jailed for protesting the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu.
Also more than 40 Shittes protestants were killed during broad day light.

1 is a lie record shows that 2018 we had the highest agricultural import than other yrs. Also we became 2nd largest importer of rice. No 2 is bunkum since the principal and managers of schools where this intervention were made said that the programme is a waste. Amnesty international debunked 3 after investigating it and discovering that it is a form of vote buying. Government job is to help idealist, inventors sme, foreign investors and entreprenuer to grow the economy not employing graduates and paying 30000 to somebody who wasted millions to aquire education. if you create enabling business incentive like tax waivers and reduction in energy tax, you can tax the multiplier effect that way graduates technicians and talented individuals will be employed in requisite discipline. A rogramme like youwin does that
