Millz404:That train is from 1948! Probably from India! And we do deserve way much better, but I do not think our polity has advanced sufficiently to provide us anything better. I mean, what should one expect in a nation that favours the anointed more than the engineer? We get the leaders, and the trains that we deserve! 2 Likes |

Afamed: Oga, wake up All the existing railways in Nigeria today were the handiwork of PDP. PMB did not pay a dime for any of these railway projects 1) Abuja - Kaduna rail line 2) Abuja MetroLine 3) Ajaokuta - Itakpe - Warri rail line 4) Lagos - Abeokuta - Ibadan 2 Likes |

dulvor4real: GEJ started the projects in 2010, not 16yrs ago. Both Abuja MetroLine and Abuja-Kaduna rail lines were over 98% completed when he left office in 2015. Buhari is technically not doing anything to the projects apart from Amaechi visiting site often to take pictures and videos for political campaigns. GEJ already spelt out detailed contract with the Chinese govt having paid up Nigeria's 15% counterparts fund in full. Note that China providing the balance of 85% as loans So, whether Amaechi visits site or not. Whether it is Buhari as President or not, China will still deliver these projects as agreed |
