Probably late September/early October. I heard they do accept D7 in Maths but not all the time.

Nairaland doesn't support whatsapp links but you can drop your number to be added to the group. Your photo must show, it is VERY necessary.

Yes you can use two sittings but NOT for Nursing but for the other question, I am not sure. Thank you.

There are two types of Masters programmes in the University of Ibadan: Professional Masters, and Academic Masters programme.

You may or CANNOT later run a PhD Programme (especially in the UI) with a "PROFESSIONAL Masters" degree. The Professional Masters is mainly for those already WORKING in an organization and needed "extra-skills and knowledge" to improve efficiency and productivity in their workplaces. They do NOT write Project in their final year/session, NEITHER can they (really) lecture with the Professional Masters degree (except as consultants in rare occasions). That is one reason their forms and school fees are more EXPENSIVE than that of the Academic Masters because it is not too rigorous but geared more towards enhancing working experience.

As for the "ACADEMIC Masters," that is what, I believe, most of us here intend applying for. It is more rigorous: students will write Project/Disertation in their final year, and they can proceed to lecture and/or run a PhD with the Masters degree if they meet the required "PhD grade" by the University of Ibadan.

The amount for Professional Masters programme is AT LEAST N21,000 (twenty one thousand naira). No but some courses will be available for you to change to if you don't meet your course cut off. Trust me, you won't like those available courses because they are courses with less number of applicants, so they will be looking for candidates they will put in those departments and by then the said courses will be very competitive. There is nothing better than you meet your course cut off. UI gave some candidates another course last year but this is not always like that.

I dont know much about pol sci. dept but i learnt that it is very easy to cross from Sociology to Law in as much as you are able to meet the requirements. A good number of students crossed to law from there this session.

Mathematics is not among the required subjects for law

so Yes it is accepted.

though it is safe to have a pass in it atleast.
