Two Nigerians have been linked to the homophobic attack on Jussie Smollet, which attracted worldwide outrage and sympathy. 

Chicago Police Spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi disclosed that one of the suspects who has already been questioned once appeared on the show "Empire". The two Nigerians linked to the homophobic attack on Jussie Smollet, flew into O'Hare airport from Nigeria on Wednesday evening and the police have already searched their apartment. 

"The people of interest are alleged to be in the area where a crime was reported. They are not considered suspects at this time."
