“My ideas usually come not at
my desk writing but in the midst of living.”

“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come
up with anything original” by Sir Ken Robinson
Introduction
Growing up, I always had a nack for engineering, a
knack that intensifie when I began my full-time job
as a design engineer right out of college.
Unfortunately, while others were able to turn off their
engineering careers after work hours, I could not. I
spent my entire free time analyzing my life, a
recreational pastime that eventually led to the
creation of my first blog site, www.ofilispeaks.com.
A site that not only served as virtual storage for my
public speaking business but also as an outlet to
document my findings on life. My hobby soon turned
into a full-time passion as the articles from the site
were downloaded in over 30 different countries
across the globe—all of them seemingly interested in
knowing “Why I Almost Got Arrested,” “Why I Got
Kicked Out of Starbucks” and the interesting
conclusions I extracted from those experiences.
