Nokia has revealed plans to lay off around 350 of its 6,000 employees in Finland this year as part of a cost-savings programme designed to shed €700 million from its operating and production expenditure by end-2020. Heikki Norta, Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development of Nokia Corporation and Mark Durrant, Director, Communications Nokia Corporation during an intercation with newsmen at the ongoing MWC in Barcelona, Spain. Nokia been saving cost from Adam and Eves time Though, they not really getting the market, but core objective of company is cost saving ever since. Huawei further pushed them to tighten up on cost saving Ericsson has fairly stood its ground to an extent, but the truth remains that Huawei now indirectly dictates to other vendors.
