ATTAH BOMBS EPHRAIM INYANG, SAYS PDP SHOULD HOLD THE COMMISSIONER RESPONSIBLE IF UDOM FAILS

Governorship Candidate of Democratic Alternative, Mr Johnson Attah has revealed that, the major reason Governor Udom Emmanuel is having difficulties in the forthcoming governorship election rescheduled by INEC for March 9, is because of the overbearing attitude and arrogance of his Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang.


According to Mr Attah, Ephraim was engaging in unnecessary political battles which has caused the people of the State to abandon PDP in droves.


Attah who was speaking to journalists in Uyo, denied having personally issues with the Commissioner for Works, but said Democratic Alternative and other opposition parties were taking advantage of the lacuna created by Ephraim and the loophole was working for them.



Attah noted that when Ephraim Inyang was sworn in as Commissioner for Works, he came into power with mass followership like the Transformation Initiative political group and lots of sympathisers, but today, he no longer enjoys that support because of pride, know-all attitude and arrogance. He also said that Ephraim does not take ideas from his elders and colleagues, no matter how good the ideas maybe.


The Governorship candidate of DA said Ephraim wants to be seen as the only loyal and faithful servant to the governor but has ended up becoming a sycophant. He said his latest sycophancy is carrying of Governor's personal chair during campaigns, a duty that was assigned to a trusted protocol officer, saying certain lifestyles of the commissioner has atttracted wild condemnation and embarrassment to the governor



Mr Johnson Attah who expressed utter disappointment reasoned that demolition of people's houses across the State few weeks to general elections was the worst strategy by Ephraim Inyang, saying the Commissioner was creating problem for his boss on daily basis.



He concluded that arrogance and haughtiness of Ephraim Inyang and fighting unnecessary battles including his colleagues have turned the good people of the State against the PDP saying Democratic Alternative and other opposition parties have welcomed a good number of decampees from PDP as a result of one man who wants to be seen as thin god.
