Huawei Technologies has been facing some tough challenges as many countries like the US and Australia banned Huawei equipment from their 5G networks. The US, being the power country leading the campaign to kick out Huawei equipment from their 5G networks was thrown off cause as they failed to convince the UK to ban the company.

The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, having reviewed the petition against Huawei and possible risks involved in dealing with the company has found that they can limit the risks of using Huawei equipment in 5G deployment instead of banning it entirely. The agency believes using different suppliers and restricting some parts of 5G networks may help to minimize the risks.

The US has maintained that Huawei could spy on behalf of China with its equipment and has succeeded in convincing some countries like Australia to ban Huawei equipment from their 5G networks.
