Sales & Marketing Manager

The ideal candidate will be sales orientated, with proven networking experience and ability to proactively promote our event planning service to corporates. You will bring superb communication skills and be in tune with inspiring customers. You will be organised, have exceptional attention to detail and the desire to go the extra mile for our customers. Time management in this multi-faceted role is also key, within our busy, high energy business! Proactive sales background is strongly desired.

Job Responsibilities
 Identification of sales leads and proactively seeking new business
 Maximising revenue by implementing good yield management practices
 Encouraging repeat business through the establishment of good client relationships
 Establishing and maintaining good relationships with existing conference agents, and identifying & nurturing new contacts
 Maintain close contacts with clients in the portfolio to establish an intimate knowledge of client’s needs
 Developing new clients through proactive calling and maintain and grow existing clients by implementing a successful account management strategy
 Development of new business via cold calling, referral, press, exhibitions, industry functions, LinkedIn, Social media
 Understand, research and implement plans to deliver new business from new market segments

Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• At least 5 Years of B2B Sales & Marketing
• Good people management skills
• Excellent in English both oral and written
• Possess in-depth understanding and knowledge of Corporate Event & Conference Space
• Proven track record of sales experience and managing relationships with corporate clients
• Ability to work to deadlines with proven time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
• Job is largely a sales and marketing role with much time spent out marketing with a fair amount of travel for presentations and marketing of company services
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other spreadsheet applications
• Have a hunter mentality, ready to aggressively drive sales with both existing and new clients
• Strong customer focus and high level of customer service ethics
