True talk! Thanks for speaking out. Nigerians are misunderstood and criminality is generalised and attached to every Nigerian. Well everywhere in the world we have fraudsters, so is not a Nigerian thing. Thats why i really support the rebranding thing. Nigeria: good people;great nation. Yes I believe and yes we can. |

why cant all the nigerian yahooyahoo scammers be employed as call center/help desk operators i wonder. since they already have all the basic equipment. only thing needed is some basic education and inflection training. Plus reorientation away from crime and criminal mentality. why isnt nigeria an outsourcing destination for businesses sef. |

well said, couldn't agree more. only the ignorant would conclude they are fraudsters. Nigeria has a lot of good/hardworking people but terrible/greedy leaders who take on power by force. |

@Mbeki Don't take the silence as lack of appreciation for what this guy had the courage to do. It is just happens that when you disagree with something there is usually much more to say than when you agree. I really enjoyed this speech. The main problem with Nigeria is not just corrupt governance, as he said, but also a shocking lack of foresight and empathy among our rulers. It would take individuals, groups and a mass movement to change the pattern of governance in Nigeria. Mbeki: |
