Mountain Top University is the brainchild of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), a Christian missionary organisation founded by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya.

The vision for the establishment of the Ministry was received in August but it was not until July 1989 that the Ministry commenced. The commission started with 24 members and as at today, the church has millions of worshippers worldwide. MFM runs missionary activities in over 40 nations of the world cutting across Africa, Europe, America and Asia.

As a Christian missionary organisation, the MFM is a full gospel ministry devoted to the revival of apostolic signs. The core vision of MFM is total liberty of men and women from all forms of oppressions and bondages through the teaching of biblical principles and aggressive prayer strategies for a victorious living.

It is against this backdrop that the vision for the establishment of Mountain Top University was derived from the founding ministry. The promulgation of the Education Decree No. 9 of 1993, which repealed the Decree No. 19 of 1984 and stipulated new guidelines on the establishment of private universities was therefore a welcome development. Mountain Top University is one of the private Universities in Nigeria.

Job Title: Professor (CONUASS 07)

Candidates for the post of professor shall possess the following criteria:

Adequate experience, including where applicable relevant professional competence;

Outstanding research publications;

Exceptional teaching ability;

Evidence of leadership in research and postgraduate supervision;

Must have at least 90% of his/her publications in print;

Should be at the level not below Associate Professor/Reader;

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the post of Legal Officer shall possess the following criteria:

A good honours degree in Law with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division from a recognised University plus four (4) years post-qualification experience;
Must have been called to the Bar;
He/she must be a member of relevant professional body;



Job Title: Electrician/Electrical Technician (CONTISS 07)

Location: Ogun

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the post of Electrician/Electrical Technician shall possess the following criteria:

A National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognised Polytechnic, plus at least four (4) years post- qualification experience;

Must be able to carry out scheduled and routine maintenance, emergency repairs, including installation of electrical related equipment;

He/she must be a member of relevant professional body;



Job Title: General Operator/Mechanic (CONTISS 04)

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the post of Generator Operator/Mechanic shall possess the following criteria:

Secondary Education Certificate and a Technical Certificate either from a Technical College/Trade School or through an accepted national apprenticeship programme;

Proven and continuous performance record, supported by references from previous and current employer may be required;

Must be able to carry out installations on small and large capacity generator sets and related equipment:

Must be able to carry out scheduled and routine maintenance, emergency repairs and overhaul of generators (static/mobile), including the installation of auxiliary fuel systems, such as tanks, transfer pumps etc.;

[b]The Position

The Registrar, who is a Principal Officer, is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the affairs (other than the financial affairs) of the University.
The person holding the office of Registrar shall, by virtue of that office, be Secretary to the Council, the Senate, Congregation and Convocation.
