The wife of Ogun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy Governorship Candidate, Mrs. Iyabo Abati on Wednesday, led a team of women and volunteers to a 'market to market' campaign in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The campaign was to further sensitize voters and solicit their support and votes for the PDP candidates ahead of the February 23rd and March 9 elections.

Mrs. Abati and her team visited the popular Obafemi and Osiele markets in Obafemi Owode and Odeda local government areas. While engaging the market women, Mrs. Abati explained that the PDP remains the best as it is the only party which prioritizes the interest and welfare of the masses.

"We have come today to seek your support and votes for our party, the PDP. A reasonable government or party must put the people's welfare first and this is what our party represents. Come Saturday 23rd of February, vote for our Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all National Assembly candidates.

"On the 9th of March, go out en masse to vote Senator Buruji Kashamu as Ogun State governor alongside our State Assembly candidates. Kindly make use of the index finger when casting your vote in order to make your vote count", Mrs. Abati said.
