nwafada.com France President, Emmanuel Macron, has signed a change in law which will from henceforth see schools discard the use of ‘mother’ or ‘father’ from documents used to refer to children’s parents but instead use ‘parent 1’ and ‘parent 2’. The amendment was passed in parliament as part of the country’s Schools of Trust law in favor of same sex parents as it will reduce the discrimination being faced by them. According to the report as mentioned by the parliament, “To prevent discrimination, school enrollment, class registers, parental authorizations and all other official forms involving children must mention only parent 1 and parent 2, “We have families who find themselves faced with tick boxes stucked in rather old-fashioned social and family models.
