pls i was admitted 4 local govt studies in faculty of administration.but wat i dont understand is that d sch fee of this course is like 54,000 while 4 other courses i saw 14,000.i need some one to explain why dis is so to me

Good evening, I just spoke with F.jay the SUG president and he specifically told me that the sug are not in agreement with the purpoted fees we've seen in the papers, he told me that we shouldn't pay any money yet cos there is still a probability that the fee will be reduce.

How do we get the Acct. No.s to pay into?

HARMATTAN SEMESTER 2010/2011 REGISTRATION
PAYMENT OF FEES

1) FRESH STUDENTS are required to pay a non-refundable ACCEPTANCE FEE of #20,000.00 to a designated Account Number obtainable at the counter at any of the branches of SKYE BANK PLC. This payment will grant Fresh Students access to Registration.

2) FOR PAYMENT OF OTHER CHARGES i.e. Main Fees and Accommodation (for those who secured bed spaces only), you are required to pay into designated Account Numbers obtainable at the counter at any of the branches of the following BANKS nationwide:


FIRST BANK PLC.
OCEANIC BANK PLC.
SKYE BANK PLC.
UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC.
ZENITH BANK PLC.
Please use separate Tellers for the payment i.e. Acceptance, Main Charges (School Fees) and Accommation as you will be required to submit the Tellers at different Sections of the University. When filling the Tellers, you MUST write your correct MATRIC NO (Returning Students) or UTME REGISTRATION NO (for Fresh Students) as well as your Names for the payment. PLEASE AVOID PAYING WITH WRONG INFORMATION i.e REGISTRATION NO & NAMES AS THIS WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ACCESSING THE E-PORTAL.

End of Normal Registration – February 27, 2011
Start of Late Registration – February 28, 2011
End of Late Registration – March 14, 2011
Start of Printing of COURSE FORM – March 15, 2011.
Please print “EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION” and "REGISTRATION LOGS" reports upon submission of your Course Form as proof of registration. The reports will be used for any correspondence with ANY OF THE AUTHORITIES:- Part Adviser,HOD, Dean, Computer Centre after closure of registration in case of any complaint.

2) REPORT REGISTRATION PROBLEMS TO COMPUTER CENTRE ENQUIRY OFFICE, Room M15, Computer Buildings Complex FOR ASSISTANCE

3) IF THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR COURSE FORM IS NOT SUCCESSFUL, YOU ARE ADVISED TO USE ANOTHER BROWSER i.e. Internet Explorer
4) You are required to fill the following FORMS:- CERTIFICATE Form (Freshers only), BIO-DATA Form, COURSE Form. Please note that COURSE FORM will only be available subject to completion of your BIO-DATA Form and Payment of appropriate fees.
ALLOCATION OF BED SPACES

1) FRESH STUDENTS will request and secure BED SPACES online as from JANUARY 9, 2011.
2) FINAL YEAR students who had previously applied for Accommodation will be allocated BED SPACES on FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis on January 16, 2011.
3) On successful payment of the Main Charges (School Fees) and Accomodation Fee, print 3 copies of your letter of Accomodation in order to occupy your Bed Space upon resumption.

Happy new year guys. I read through some comments here and i observed that my reply in another thread with name " oau freshers resume 17 jan" by Gakin92, was sufficient to provide answers to questions that u seek, bothering on this new fee payment strategy and high fees being payed by local govt studies dept. I was unable to paste it here cos it was too long for my poor phone to cope with. I therefore, kindly refer all of u, to that thread. I stumbled over it first before this.
