-materials was snatched from polling units by men on army camouflage
- Protesters call for cancellation of results

There is an ongoing protest at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Office in Owerri, The protesters, many of whom are Ohaji/Egbema local government area, are protesting against the conduct of the election in their area.

The protesters who stormed the Imo INEC office at Port Harcourt road at 12:30pm today Sunday, 24 February 2019, are asking INEC to stop any announcement of results from the area.

Speaking to newsmen, the leader of the aggrieved protesters Mr. Emma Okwudiri said all they want is free and fair election, he narrated that yesterday at Ohaji/Egbema local government area so many electoral materials went missing and as well the Staff of the electoral Umpire came very late to the area.

“In Some wards, materials was snatched from polling units by men on army camouflage, we are here to plead to INEC to please never accept any result coming from Ohaji Egbema, we call for the cancellation of the results and a rescheduled re-run in our area so that we can elect our choice candidates”

Rochas has been paying the Nigerian army to go around snatching ballot boxes and reporting fake figures.

Nigerians hope INEC has taken note of what has happened in Imo state.
