It was a protest vote against ex-gov. Jonah Jang who wanted to impose his nephew as governor, after being a governor himself for 8 years. Yes both Atiku & Buhari are Muslims but on a general note you have more Christians surrounding Atiku, especially going by his support from SS/SE. Moreover, most christian clergy and pastors have been critical of Buhari. There has been peddling of this propaganda about Buhari's plans to islamise Nigeria.This messages have been massively spread in most churches in Plateau.

All needs reduce all the high margins buhari would have used to win him in APC strongholds... With those states gej lost and hold on tight to his own strongholds....its not looking good for Buhari in SS and SE! So no 25% for buhari their! In Rivers State, I think you will find that APC has taken most of the riverine areas and Ogoni. I dont have figures to prove but you just wait. PDP supporters should forget GEJ era. There is no more inflating of figures. The turnout in SS and SE were very disappointing and top of that, probably tens of thousands of votes will be voided due to irregularities. Both parties have the spread. What Atiku lacks is the numbers. The North rejected him and all other regions have been shared. More disastrously for PDP the NC and parts of SS have been shared.

Apc can never smell there ass again in plateau cus we are fed up there govt.
