The gay guy filed a false police report alleging he was the victim of a brutal racist and homophobic attack during which the attackers shouted " This is a MAGA country" . ( Make America Great Again , president Trump ' s slogan ). Smollett also said they put a rope around his neck and tried to hang him. Unfortunately for Jussie Smollett there were scores of surveillance cameras in the area that were later streamed by Chicago police. They nailed him and charged him.
