Kwankwaso is popular. Pdp should have fielded him not because he could have beaten buhari in the north but he could have gotten as high as 40% since is isn't widely seen as a corrupt man. in fact any other person could have performed better thab Atiku. Atiku then worsened things by going for someone known for demolishing mosques and persecuting northerners

Kwankwaso might be popular in the north, but not in some southern states( SW specifically). He is an ethnic jingoist. His past behaviors might come back to haunt him. He would have done better in the south east sha, but he would have performed worse than Atiku in the south west.
