Sen. Shehu Sani who represents Kaduna Central Senatorial District currently at the National Assembly has failed in his bid to return.

Shehu Sani ran on the platform of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and he lost to the candidate who ran under the flagship of APC, Uba Sani. Uba Sani was a former aide to the current Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai.
