James Manager Defeats Delta State Ex-Governor Uduaghan For 5th Term In Senate by Mitesh02: 11:43am On Feb 26, 2019
Former Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, has lost his senatorial bid.

Uduaghan who was the governor of Delta state from 2007 to 2015, contested for the Delta South Senatorial district but he however lost to the incumbent Senator, James Manager.

According to the INEC returning officer, Professor Oladipupo Adesina, who announced the result, said Manager polled 258,812 votes to win Uduaghan who garnered 125,776 votes.

James Manager will be going to the Senate for the 5th time. He was elected senator in 2003 and has won every election since then making him one of the longest serving senator in the coming Senate.
