The 2019 Orientation exercise for newly admitted students of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) will hold according to the schedule below for students in the main campus of the University. The event was earlier scheduled to commence from Thursday, the 21st of February 2019, but had to be postponed due to the rescheduled 2019 General election.

According to a statement from the the University Student Affairs Division, the annual exercise will hold simultaneously in both campuses of the University and will start on Thursday, the 28th of February 2019.

Day 1: Thursday, 28/02/2019 (Obioakpa Campus)
11.30am ------ All students are seated at the venue
11.45am ------ Deans, Directors, Guest speakers, Heads of Departments and other Staff of the University are seated.
12noon ------- Arrival of the Vice-Chancellor and other Principal Officers of the University.
