Politicians will only make big promises, when they get to that position, they'll be the ones increasing their pension pay. I'm not convinced.

Good move...

Governors should be moderately compensated...

N1m a month is okay
Compensated while in office or after, you served for 4 years and u want a fat juicy pension, when person wey serve for 30 years is paid a meagre 80k monthly.
Serve and go

There is a Pension law in Lagos yes. It is not up to 1 billion.

The law is written in plain English, you should read it.

I insist that the annual Pensions and benefits package for ex. Lagos Governors is worth a billion naira. Do your research.

They should not give former Governors pension. The Government should establish a big farm for each of them to go and be plucking mango there.

When they pluck mango and sell it, what they make is their pension.

Oh my God. grin
Because it's mango season abi. cheesy cheesy

Good, why should they be getting paid in two or more places because they are politicians. This is one of the reasons why they keep contesting for political posts.
just imagine as a Retired Generals they are paid, as a former Governors they get paid, as senators they still earn their paychecks..#Nigeria Indeed is a shithole
