Trade marketing Executives
A Chinese company on the island in Lagos is pioneering the sales and installation of a newly introduced brand of kitchen and bathroom equipment as well as other building and plumbing components in Nigeria. The brand seeks to establish world class show rooms and drive its market penetration by offering top notch products and services.
The company requires the service of fresh graduates to drive its value propositions and products in the market.
The person
• Must be a Graduate not more than 30 years of age, must have completed NYSC
• Excellent communication skill, written and oral.
• Previous experience in similar role is an added advantage but not compulsory
• Ability to demonstrate creativity in delivering shop-floor activities e.g promotions and trade fair events.
• Ability to display initiative and interpersonal skills, and able to work with cross-functional groups across multiple levels of the organization to deliver results.
The responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the creation of a channel and category strategy & vision for the Nigerian business;
• Support and lead Sales and Marketing departments in the areas of business information, category management, channel visibility materials and trade presentations;
• Initiate and manage category management projects with retailers and corporate real estate clients;
• Work on key strategic projects with retailers, aiming to influence purchasing behaviour, drive in-store activity for the brand portfolio, and support the sales effort in the creation and implementation of innovative and effective trade support activities;
• Identify and monitor competitors, researching market conditions;
• Perform ad hoc analyses, shopper research projects and trade communications;
• Independently develop and initiate strategies for market penetration.

The selected candidates will report to the Trade Marketing Manager (Expatriate).

Remuneration:
Very competitive (Not commission based), Medical cover and Performance bonus are included as well.
