Efforts by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission to examine the books of the National Assembly, are being frustrated. The commission, which is trying to determine how much each lawmaker earns, is reportedly being pressured to drop the probe. Similar probes have failed in the past but the commission says it is bent on finishing its investigations.
