BigBashiru:

As far as I am concerned, Atiku is my president too. An illiterate man who peaked in the 1980s can never rule over me with his dictator style - God forbid. 4 years of Atiku then a hand over of power to younger presidents.

The black man is the architect of his own woes.
Eyaaah...u wan cry? Na so e pain u reach!! Atiku is gon get screwed back to back like Real Madrid and if u like u can install him as president of twitter/ nairaland!!

By the time the case surfer different adjournment till 2023 nobody will tell him to withdraw it.

The sharp guys pushing him to go to court, still want to feed largely into his looted wealth.

He is crying of rigging, rigging, rigging when in the actual sense, he lost at his polling unit which confirm he is not wanted by his people or his polling unit was rigged too ?.

Why are buhari supporters so jittery about atiku going to court?

With most of the recent court judgment going against APC i won't be surprised if the tribunal before end of may nulify the election

OSUN case which Adeleke is almost 95% sure of winning will kick start that wave of positive court judgement

All those saying that Atiku is wasting his money going to court...very funny!
money that he has in excess is least of his worries now

He was beaten black & blue and all you're saying is rigging, rigging & rigging.

If your so called Atiku can lose at his own polling unit where he voted, that shows he is not even wanted by his people; Or was the result of his polling unit rigged too ?.

He is so desperate to go to court because he knows age and zoning may not favour him next election.

Lawyers go eat sha and the money spent will be a share waste.

He killed himself by openly making it known how he will sell NNPC, Unity Schools and a host of others.

God please make Biafra a reality in Jesus name Amen. Cos with the way Buhari almajiri and Tinubu almajiri are going there is no remedy for the country. A country where illiterates and dirty skull miners rule over the intelligent and innovative all because of their uncontrolled population is sickening and I don't know what to do.

I believe PDP plan is to use this election case to hold this government into ransom for their demands, they know they cannot win in tribunal or supreme court.

Are you the owner of the money he wants to spend?

Atiku is following due process, so allow him to fight is case in court.

I wonder o?

If he ever lose the case, he has done the right thing! Not to go to court is to embolden these Politicians, INEC and others involved to commit worse brazenly in future elections.

Meanwhile, Atiku, you are a billionaire but nothing stops you from calling on Nigerians to contribute their token to support you for this legal battle. You deserve our financial contribution, no matter how small because you have proven yourself to be a true democrat by approaching the courts rather than delight in shedding blood to avenge the injustice done to you and other well-meaning Nigerians at the polls.

Nigerians are too partisan and gullible for my liking...no wonder we are where we are today. We dont ask questions. We dont complain. Everything is to be accepted as it is, whether good or bad. If someone wants to ask question it is misinterpreted. What is the judiciary meant for? Why do we loath the idea of an aggrieved presidential candidate to seek justice in court? At least let him try. It is the last legal option and he wants to take it. Buhari had always gone to court when he complained of being rigged out for like 3x. So Atiku or anyone else that felt cheated should approach the court.

Peter Obi became a governor despite all odds because he went to court. It was such an unpopular idea then, but he asked question and got answer.

Let us step up in civility by asking questions especially when it doesn't seem right. We should not just take everything as it is.

Its just to save face sha so that it does seem that he chickened out after making so much noise coupled with the likes and shares he got from twitter and online polls. He will fail again, this time the pain will be too much for him to bear. I wonder why he feels that he won the election when PMB beat him black and blue in the whole north. Let him waste money as usual . One thing is sure, the court will simply throw away his application with their common language as "in lacking merit" and his eyes will be opened to reality. Pls let nobody tell him not to go to court again afterall our lawyers are hungry for his dollars. Bunch of losers.
Sore losers.

Ebullience:
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has inaugurated his legal team to challenge the result of the just concluded presidential election.

According to a statement by his media adviser, Paul Ibe, the team inaugurated on Saturday is headed by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr Livy Uzoukwu.

“I have just inaugurated my legal team and charged them with the responsibility of ensuring that our stolen mandate is retrieved,” Atiku was quoted as saying in the statement.

He added, “I am encouraged by the presence of fearless men and women of the Bench.

“The judiciary which had in the past discharged itself ably is once again being called upon to deliver judgement on this matter that will be untainted by lucre and uncowed by the threat of immoral power.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the election on Wednesday, having polled the highest number of votes in the poll.

In his reaction, Atiku rejected the result, alleging several malpractices including the use of the military to perfect voters’ intimidation and suppression in PDP strongholds.

He had also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of conniving with INEC officials and security agents to fabricate “bogus figures and outright falsification of the returns from the polling units”.

The PDP candidate, thereafter, said he would use all available legitimate means to challenge the result of the election.

On Thursday, he met with members of the National Peace Committee lead by a former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd).

Atiku assured Nigerians that sooner than later, the dispensers of justice would give a judgement which he said would represent “a historic denunciation of electoral fraud and mandate bandit”.

Meanwhile, the former vice president has vowed that he would under no circumstance “mortgage the mandate of Nigerians as freely expressed on the 23rd of February, 2019.”

He raised an alarm of alleged desperate moves to make him concede and congratulate President Buhari.

The PDP presidential candidate also alleged that his son-in-law, and finance director of his group of companies, Babalele Abdullahi, was arrested in Abuja on Saturday, as part of the pressure being mounted on him.

“In a desperate move to have Atiku Abubakar concede and congratulate General Muhammadu Buhari, officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at about 8.30am today (Saturday) invaded the Maitama residence of Babalele,” a separate statement by Ibe claimed.

It added, “They were, however, not given access into the house until his lawyers arrived.

“As a law-abiding citizen, Atiku Abubakar recognises the constitutional role of the EFCC and indeed any other agency of the government to carry out investigations, but will not be cowed by any attempt to blackmail him into mortgaging his mandate.”
