So Tonight let's talk-----> The Greatest Righteousness
Text ; Matthew 6:33
To the Christendom of this age, Righteousness is simply referred to as sinless living or Holiness. Whereby a Christian abstains from sin and lives a holy life. It's good though, Yes! But the questions are->is that all?, or is that all that is required to be a genuine child of God?".. Well NO!

The Greatest of all Righteousness is THE KINGDOM OF GOD. It is so righteous that we need to be righteous to walk towards our habitation there. Another name for it is PERFECTION. Only this type of righteousness has benefits, as guaranteed in matt 6:33. All we need to do is Desire It and act on it. But it is a pity many of us just Desire It but don't SEEK IT.

Only until we focus all our life goals on the Kingdom of God can we attain righteousness to the fullness of Him required from us. Seeking it brings cleanliness.
Calling yourself a true believer and your goal isnt aimed first at Heaven makes you miles away from total salvation.

This type of righteousness is what makes you do everytin in your power to reachout for lost souls so they can be a dweller of Our Heavenly place God Himself has prepared for us. Righteousness is not a quality but a way of life as that's how everyone in Heaven lives.

Everybody wants to go to Heaven but none are ready to pay the price.
Whether we like it or not it's our inheritance and that's why the angels in Heaven rejoice whenever a sinner repent. In reference to the prodigal son's story God is just waiting for us to come back Home.

The Kingdom of God is the abode of every of God's living creature. and because He knows lots of worldly things can hinder us from getting there is why He guaranteed us of the availability of our welfare if only we seek it First! And why is that? Because it's our HOME ! . What makes a Home a "Sweet Home" is the comfort and satisfaction it gives just by thinking of it or going there, let alone being there. Many of us feel relieved and joyous while going home after a long hectic day at work. No matter what is being promised at that time all you want is to get Home because you know the following is assured ------> Rest, Peace of mind, provision, comfort, freedom, satisfaction etc. Therefore most people work devoted and well so as not to have any thing hinder their going Home after closing hours. The more they think of Home, the more morale they get to work fast. That's how it is with the Kingdom of God!! When you realise how much luxury money can't buy that is waiting for you at Home in Heaven, you'll surely want to live right and do according to the will of God which is our work that we came to do here on earth.

The earth is not our Home, Heaven is.

Why should you win souls?
Well one answer to that is while you are almost done with whatever you are doing before going home, don't you like to look around to see who you can hook up with to go home with you? Don't you like your home being filled with more or few friends ? Or don't you bring in some friends to meet with your family from time to time? Plus if you have a happy home people would always want to come and in most cases not want to go back.

Apart from work, even in your leisure times don't you feel pity and show concern to the homeless people roaming streets having no where to stay? Don't you sometimes wish to show them hospitality by bringing them to your home? Don't forget it's the way you present whoever you bring into your home that will determine how they will be received by your family. That's how it is with we believers and the unbelievers. we are the The Lord's Sheep guided by a Good Shepherd (Jesus) while they are the misguided and lost sheeps.
the story of the woman in the bible who gave prophet elijah shelter and was rewarded has already made us know that there's an Heavenly reward for those who show hospitality to others as well as winning souls to the Kingdom of God

sometimes for you to even get people to go with you somewhere, you have to start by telling them about the exciting things that place has to offer when he/she gets there. Infact one good experience with a friend or two will often announce your place to other friends who will then want to come. Talkless of the eternal Kingdom of God that after getting there you won't need to go to work the next morning , worry about paying rent and bills, cleaning and tidying , working, welfare etc. For God to even guarantee us enjoyment here while seeking it is enough to win us over.

How does it bring about Righteousness?
Well the thought of not wanting to have anything get in your way of heading home is enough to discipline you and urge you to put in your best in doing whatever it is that you are doing because you know if you don't perform well as expected , three things could happen; you could not be allowed to go home just yet , you could be summoned back to work after getting home for you to come back and finish up or clean any mess and if the mistakes keeps repeating to the extent of not finishing well on time, you could be robbed off of that job and even with severe punishment. Putting to consideration All this illustrations while in the Work Of Life as a Christian brings about righteousness at it fullness so as not to face divine query and punishment when the time comes to close , report and go home back to God..

Why you should be careful !!
When bringing in friends home, there are some your family may like and some they don't . which is normal and as well determines the stay of such friend in that house. Also in the case of the Kingdom of God, Jesus has said He will deny some people in the presence of His father saying He knew them not when they come to Him.

This in turn means not everyone will be welcomed or be granted stay in the Kingdom of God . this will happen because there would be some things not good about them which has been disapproved or probably He/she hasn't met completely with the criteria of entering that house! (Not all homes allows all kind of visitors , according to classes and standards) moreover just as it is in High and royal homes , for a place of paradise like heaven you should not expect those with filthy and dirty garments allowed access to stay there. you can't go to meet a King in rags and still expect Him to allow you stay in the palace. if at all he allows you in, he will surely order your clean up before any other thing. while you have the grace to clean up yourself now for the great appointment, do that fast with the Help of the Holy Spirit. afterwards make sure you don't get dirty or stained again.

this is why we need to be extra careful in meeting with the given conditions for our stay in the Kingdom of God else such person will be rejected and kicked out. Don't forget the condition is to "Seek the Kingdom of God and all it Righteousness" . it is that righteousness that will brush up and dress us up as required for that occasion.


Everyone is on this earth for a mission. And that mission is the assignment God has given to us. But no matter how long it may take, one day the one who sent you on that mission will call you to come back home. and not without adequate accounts of what He has sent you on earth to do.

Some people have gotten carried away along the line and has forgotten this. Others don't even know there's a place of stay and comfort waiting for them after life.

A place you don't have to work to earn a living, a place that has many mansions and yours in one of them if only you can SEEK it first above every other thing here. It will be vain and tragic if after working and suffering on earth , it doesn't tally with Heaven and therefore lands you in Hell to suffer eternal.

Why not save yourself of the after life suffering and torment ? Why not do what you have to do for God quick before the trumpet sound? If at all you are saved why not dedicate all your life time to revive other believers who are inactive and are sleeping on duty for the Kingdom of God?.

Why suffer for what you can avert ? Why work for what you are suppose to get at ease if only you seek first God's Kingdom?. For what will it profit you to gain the world , lose your soul and lose heaven? Do you want to be sent away right from the gates as a result of your disobedience when the time comes?
All these many questions came about one answer which is -------> SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND ALL IT RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Stop seeking it ONLY and start seeking it WHOLLY.


Conclusively, No matter how righteous you are as a believer, if you don't have Heaven as your First Target then your Righteousness is not complete. Most righteous people are in hell 2day because they didn't prepare for Heaven.

Reviving Word ; You can miss Heaven, But you can never miss Hell.
