Nothing is Impossible.. but Really, Lagos govt since 1999 only focus on only two sectors., TRANSPORTATION and ENVIRONMENTAL.. with close to 60 billion revenue every months, it is the easiest state to govern in Nigeria, because it's only this two area they work on.. Unlike other states that work on Housing, water, agriculture, health, sport, Industry etc.. Lagos is not working too, people are just deceived...Lagos is developed already by the FEDERAL GOVT when it was capital of Nigeria.. That's what some of these morons don't get. Tinubu has always been seen as someone that protects the interest of Lagos. There's a sense he loves the state. You'll see that by his choice of candidates. You can say he chops money or whatever but the man heavily reinvests in the state which says a lot more about other politicians that fleece a state and can't wait to take the money elsewhere. Tinubu's relationship with Lagos is give and take, not just take take take like ppl like Saraki. Tinubu helped in removing Ambode not because he wasn't paying Tinubu, as a matter of fact Ambode did more for Tinubu than Fashola did, however too many complaints and Ambode was working below the standards set. We want someone that wants the best for the state and not just their selfish interests. Also Lagos did their otoge movement when the PDP government held back funds from the state and Tinubu had to come up with a way top keep the state running by generating revenue internally for the state. That's a lie. Reason you guys will keep failing in your attempts. Ambode was performing below expectations. Tinubu is smart so he listened to the majority. Someone like Tinubu will keep on benefiting no matter who's there so it was about performance. As far as not settling people, Ambode canceled all PSPs and replaced them with his company. Now if his company succeeded, it'll have been a different story, fact is they failed woefully. Lagos became so dirty, level of dirt we had not seen since the military era. I know a couple of what Ambode did that I won't spill here but he was horrible, he was selfish, he was greedy, he was incompetent. A country with large population is more likely to have high gross domestic product which doesn't mean they are really rich. It's just like 100 people owning #100 which amounts to #10,000 and ten people owning #200 which amounts to #2000 who is really rich. I don't know why people don't understand this things. Yeah sacrifices of our ancestors that ended only in Lagos. I’m not sure how your hypocrisy isn’t giving you a headache. People build cities, states, countries. Whole countries have been rebuilt since when Lagos has been capital last, just in case that’s your weak argument. There’s no reason other states shouldn’t be more developed than they are. APC destroyed Lagos but PDP only held back funds that was meant for development and welfare of the people of the state. Most states would have collapsed if this had happened which is what PDP were counting on then. Fact is, Tinubu got creative and did what he could to make sure the state he loves keeps functioning.
