Immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Godswill Akpabio may be sworn in as the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-East this year despite his loss to Mr. Christopher Ekpeyong of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded National Assembly elections.
