APC chieftain Bola Tinubu today spoke at Lagos APC stakeholders meeting in Acme.He thanked Mushin, Agege, Ikorodu,Lagos Mainland and Lagos Island for delivering massively for APC during the presidential election & encouraged other LGAs to do more for the part in Saturday elections.He urged them to avoid violence and said he is optimistic that the party will emerge victorious.He also said that he wants to hear the good news on Saturday that the elections have been won by APC in governorship & all assembly seats.Speaking further,he said that if you lose your polling unit 'OYO lo wa'

INEC should ensure there is free and fair election on saturday and we hope it will be violence free and devoid of intimidation.

Without thuggery and money you can't win an election in most part of the continent.
Where African countries have problem is that there thuggery is so crude (unrefined), while in the western world they call it bully, some call it courageous but it is same harsh tone as practiced in Nigeria.
When it comes to money we don't spend like the western world, as of December Trump has raised over 15 million USD for his campaign.
What you will say is that over there campaign funds are not used to directly buy voters, but it is used to technically buy voters, cyber bullying, blackmailing and fake news propagating.
Politicians are same thing everywhere just that the system (institution, country laws) have made some to look normal. They all lie to get power, they all play to the gallery during election period, some even assassinate opponents, so what is the difference between them and Nigerian politicians?
