This role will fit a confident young person with the ability to self-motivate as well as identify and grow new and existing leads and business channels for the business. The right candidate should ideally have a technical background or education, but this is not essential as training can be provided. Any marine electronics or general telecom/electrical/electronics experience will be a bonus. The role with fit an ideas person who is able to conceptualise and push for management approval new offerings that leverage internal and external products and services.

This role will require someone with excellent writing skills and an ability to communicate effectively as frequent communication with clients as well as report writing is a major part of the role. The candidate will be expected to be able to research new international and local clients, identify leads with these companies and use existing company product sources and with tech support to spec and sell solutions to these clients. The right candidate will also be expected to drive the registration of the company as vendors with clients and all the processes involved in that. Interest or familiarity with CRM systems, web/graphic design or blogging will be plus. Commitment to constantly improving the standards of work and processes within the company will also be very important.
