Abia State Police Command on Wednesday grilled the embattled Abia North Senator, Mao Ohuabunwa for about 6 hours in connection with electoral offences. The Senator had in the evening of Wednesday reported himself to state CID in connection with the allegation. While the Senator was sighted by ABN leaving the police facility at about 9:35pm on Wednesday, his two police security aides, a sergeant and an inspector were detained. All efforts to obtain a copy of the Senator’s statement proved abortive as at the time of filing this report. How do you grill someone for electoral offense, when it's the same person screaming that cancelled votes are greater than margin of win.. and the election ought to be reconducted in those areas of cancellation. 3 Likes |
