It’s not very often that you randomly discover free music lying about on the Internet.

OK I lie! The Blackberry revolution has made access to the internet much easier for majority of would be internet users in Nigeria and downloading music from the internet from sites like 4shared and Sendspace have become the in-thing in Nigeria.

Websites like NotJustOk.com, Gidi Lounge and MyTruspotare famous for exclusively releasing new music to the public.

Mondays for a section of the Nigerian Twitter community has been informally tagged #MusicMonday with Artistes, A&R Managers and Record Label Executives providing links to free music downloads of themselves, their artistes or the music twit’fam.

It is no longer unusual to see tweets like “plix who has the link to Abo ko ku” followed by a retweet or two with the download link.

360nobs.net have announced that they will be hosting free music from Afolabi Durotoye a.k.a Beazy on Mondays with his version of Deuces as the first track to be dropped.

When I was much younger I would trawl websites looking for public pages without links on the main website pages. As recently as a few weeks ago I tried to find out if Arsenal had signed Sebastien Squillaci by putting his name into the address bar using the Arsenal.com format. Sadly that didn’t go up till he was officially unveiled.

Yesterday I was on 360nobs.net hoping to view Pope’s new video “Enjoy”. I noticed a link to download the song below the post and I promptly clicked. The rest they say is history.

I seem to have come across a list of over 100 songs available for download from 360nobs.net Most of the music has probably been released elsewhere on the website but you probably need to know which pages to click to get the links.

I’ve done most of the homework and have listed all the songs here. There is probably more free music on the site and if I’m bored enough I’ll figure out the download paths.

Between when I found this out and now, more music has been posted.
