The case of Hon. Rita Oduchi Orji, member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency under the platform of the PDP and chairman house committee on diaspora affairs, is a case study of how a good representative of her people is been vilified for not belonging to the ethnic group of her host state. The good works of Hon. Rita Oduchi Orji is evident in the very constituency that she represents in the the National Assembly, her numerous benevolence towards the constituency cuts across road construction and social welfare of her host constituency, she constructed numerous number of roads which are Uzor street Ajegunle, Molade street Olodi Apapa, Ibafon Street Olodi Apapa Sylver street Olodi Apapa, John Okorie street Olodi Apapa, etc. She also rehabilitated from Akere bus stop to NEPA bus stop of the Kirikiri road,she also embarked upon the construction of Muyibu road Olodi Apapa but the APC lead government stopped the work citing their decision to construct the road but that particular road has been abandoned without any sign of work on the road there by putting the residents of the area to perpetual agony of the dilapidated road, the same scenario played out at Otto-Wharf road in which the APC acting on the behest of the state government tried again to stop her from constructing the road but she swiftly intervened to the successful construction of the road. But the problem of not belonging to the ethnic group of her host state has overshadowed the very good work she did to justify the confidence reposed on her by the masses who voted her to the office. Once this mindset of vilifying whoever that doesn't belong to us not considering that persons achievement the better for us as a nation.

She didn't belong to the ethnic group of her host when she won for years ago, so if she loses it has nothing to do with it...we were all happy when she won and this is how democracy should be..Yoruba's were hailed for been liberal and open minded until your people started reminding us how we have been conquered, how Lagos is no man's land, how Yoruba's can do nothing to change her, saying where she represents constitutes 90% Igbo's, lol.
If she represents a n area which constitutes 90% Igbo's then who is voting her out?...it became an affront how your people boasted and all sort which the Yoruba's duly retraced there steps...Yoruba's are duly conscious of the plans of your folks

All this one na long story.Did she win in the last election?it will be good if she won, she was contesting against a seasoned member of the federal house in person of honourable kolawole taiwo.
