@ femmy2010, You seem to be very honest and genuine from what I've seen of your postings on this forum. Please my younger sister wants to get a car, she doesn't have much though. What can she get for like 550k from Cotonou that will be within the 10 year limit set by the Federal Government and will also include paying the appropriate duties so she doesn't run into Customs wahala. P.S. She wants something that's automatic and 4 doors. And I'll prefer something in the Honda/Toyota range.

Thanks. I did not know the 15 year limit has been effected. I would love for her to have a toyota or honda brand because these two are more reliable and would be easier for her to maintain IMHO. She's not looking at something bogus. Can you please give me a rough estimate of the prices of maybe a corolla or civic inclusive of the clearing and dutyfees, so I'll let her know how much more she needs to raise. You can quote the year of production so I'll be able to show her the picture to get her opinion. It's her money and her car, so I want her to see it first. thanks.

Hello sir,frankly but sadly we wont be able to get any Toyota or Honda not older than 15years and with payment of duties with her budget of N550k.
Clearing cost would take away about N200k of the N550k,leaving us with N350k to work with.
