Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has swept results in the entire 17 Local government Area of Enugu State.

The results were announced at the State Collation Centre office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Enugu.

They were collated by Prof. Joseph Ahanekwu, the Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, the State Collation Officer.

He gave total number of registered voters as 1,944,803, while the accredited voters stood at 478,241.

According to him, while the APC got 10,423, the PDP polled 449,935

The 17 local government collation officers said there no incident of violence or complaint from any of the political parties.

Final pronouncement on the election is being awaited.

The incumbent Governor ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

DAILY POST reports that the All Progressives Congress, APC, trailed far behind in the final results.

NSUKKA ZONE or Nsukka is different from Nsukka L.G.A.

Nsukka comprises these Local governments Igbo Etiti, Nsukka , Igbo Eze north and south, udenu, uzo uwani etc.

There is a local government named Nsukka in Nsukka. and there is a Town named Nsukka Asadu in Nsukka LGA.

Nsukka is a LG under Enugu North senatorial zone, people refer to the whole zone as Nsukka though dating from the time of Old Anambra, Nsukka Lg is the commercial capital of the zone. just like you have Enugu East LG under Enugu East Senatorial Zone. doesn't mean they are same

i said Nsukka AREA not ZONE, Ada-ada comprises of only Nsukka area of which Isi-uzo is inclusive, you can google Ada- ada state ( the nsukka area are craving for a state of there own known as Ada-ada to them)

south east Nigeria is pdp. If this figure happens in the north or south west, we will hear the election was rigged. I never gave any other party a chance in the south east even apga self look dead
