Ofcos...my website is important.

I was doing a site for a client and I decided to use garrantor.ng, it was a disaster, I couldn't even access file manager and phpmyadmin...the yeye host said the server I was on is having a problem...why will they put me in a non working server after making payments? I just have togo for another cheap foreign host.

I searched for your website in your old posts on Nairaland, and based on the check I want to confirm that we did have a downtime of 30-40 minutes on 10th March Sunday, on the server that your website is Hosted.

It appears that you may have missed our notification, prompting the confusion. I'm happy to clarify it.

The downtime was to perform a regular check to track the performance of the server, checking of RAID & backup disks, perform some upgrades & make sure that the server keeps performing at the best speed & with no downtime.

Before this check, the server on which your website is hosted had been up for 132 days with zero downtime & we want to make sure this continues.

I want to assure you that we take downtime really seriously, and we want to make sure that you always get 100% Uptime with us. In case of any downtime or server issues, we will be the first to inform you as we don't believe in hiding such incidents.

In future, I advise you to please contact our support at support@domainking.ng (we always reply within minutes) instead of any social channels as in most cases its almost impossible for us to actually know the issue or keep track of it to resolve it on priority. Such an issue can go unnoticed sometimes & we never want that to happen.

I really hope that you understand it & this clarifies any doubts.

Forget that Nigerian hosting bullshit. Domainking is good. I use them on my websites and I almost never have downtime. Even though I have a very complex website that their support team almost doesn't know how to assist me when I have issues with my database, they still try.
Moreover, where is your patriotism?

They are specialists in WordPress and some other CMS but not my kind of website and I don't see anything wrong with that cuz no one is an island of knowledge.
If you visit my website www.zealnut.com, you'll know that it's quite different from so many other websites so it's just natural that they tell me to fix my problems myself since I coded the website.
And yes, I'll recommend them for any newbies, I'm a developer and I recommend domainking for any client that can't afford foreign hosting.

Don't just go there. Saying that they don't offer free support means you don't even know them at all. I have been using namecheap for the past 4 years without any issues. And their support is second to none and it's free and very very swift. Their live support answer you in seconds and they fix all your problems, even the ones that is your fault and not supposed to concern them.

I don't know that, I once used namecheap for a client and they asked me to include $5 support addon during checkout. I just concluded that their support is not free
