It seems the duo of Remi and Bola Tnubu are yet to grasp the fact that the National assembly is not the rubber stamp Alausa that they have been controlling since 1999.

Tinubu knows the power of the legislative as he has deployed them severally to do his bidding.

Alausa has been used to blackmail Tinubu's deputies when he was governor, which saw to Tinubu having a record 4 deputies in 8yrs, all thanks to Alausa. All but one of Tinubu's deputies was forced to resign or face impeachment by the state assembly.

Then there are the cases of Fashola and Ambode who were hounded by threats of impeachment for daring to not do Tinubu's bidding. Fashola was quick to retrace his steps and to assume the role of a stooge of Tinubu and for that he got rewarded with a second term. Unfortunately for Ambode, his "sins" where unforgiveable and Tinubu had activated his band of rascals in Alausa to commence with impeachment proceedings despite the party denying Ambode a ticket (another first from Tinubu's Lagos). It wasn't enough that Tinubu had humiliated and castrated Ambode as governor and also denied him a return ticket on the APC platform, Tinubu wanted more and by more I meant to further disgrace and humiliate Ambode by impeaching him as governor - a feat that Tinubu was assured to achieve with the help of his rubber stamp legislatives at Alausa.

Tinubu has continued to perpetuate himself as governor of Lagos since he left office in 2007 solely because he has maintained a strong and firm grip of the state legislative arm and also the civil service. All legalised criminality that Tinubu has used to amass his enormous wealth has also come from the state assembly approving and passing into law skewed bills meant to enrich Tinubu. The alpha beta racket and life pension which Tinubu enjoys won't have been possible without the legislative's approval.

It is upon their success in Alausa and Lagos, that Tinubu hoped to control the national assembly in 2015 until Saraki threw in the spanners.

Fastfoward to 2019 and it seems the duo of Remi and Bola Tinubu are yet to comprehend that the national assembly and federal politics can not be equated to the rubbish that passes for legislative arm in Lagos.

Remi Tinubu will be more stupid than I thought if she thinks she can emerge as a principal officer in the incoming Senate talk more of being made deputy Senate President.

The PDP will not be dabbling into the politics of selecting SP and his deputy unless the APC repeats their foolishness of 2015. However, there is one thing I am sure of and that the northern senators will not approve of nor neither support Rem Tinubu as deputy Senate President, if in doubt Tinubu should see how they removed Patricia Etteh and she should also see how her husband supported Tambuwal against a Yoruba female candidate.

If she dares to contest as DSP, one thing is for sure, and that is the entire PDP Senators will not vote her alongside non SW APC senators.

I admire Tinubus doggedness in today's politics but then his greed has put him in a very hot seat and he doesn't even know.. And that's what you really want to avoid in bigger stage of politics. All lights are on him and you don't want to be calling shots in a very tribal driven country like ours.. I wish him luck but then, I'll be schooled if he survives another 8years with the attention he's inviting.

If the DSP is zoned to the SW by the majority APC, and the APC SW caucus agree that she would be the senior Senator for the role, and the APC senators vote in her favour, what will a zombie from PDP do about it?

Look at this maga

Northern APC senators will not stand for Remi Tinubu DSP

The PDP will rally round a northern senators for DSP

Tinubu's DSP ambition will be cut short by PDP

Consider this as a test run of how the same PDP will thwart a Yoruba presidency in 2023
