Last month ,Telsa announced that it would be closing down many of it's stores and moving to online-only sales in order to pass the savings along to it's customers.
But after evaluating every single Telsa retail location,they have decided to keep significantly many stores open than previously announced as they continue to evaluate them over the course of several months.
Recall that,Telsa recently closed 10% of sales locations,as they selected stores that didn't invite enough customers it's stores have always being designed for.
Telsa have also revealed plans to reopen a few stores in high visibility locations that were previously closed due to low through put,but with a smaller crew Telsa crew.
Also,they are currently reviewing another 20% of locations,some of which will be closed and some will remain open.
As a result of keeping more stores open,Telsa have revealed plans to raise about 3% of the prices of it's cars on average world wide.
But this increase in price will take effect as from March 18th.So potential Telsa owners still have a week to place their orders before the prices increase.
Note,this hike in prices will only affect the more expensive variants of model 3,as well as model S and X.
