The first ever Miss Niger Delta winner 2001 Queen Carol Alfred celebrates her Birthday last Night with few Friends, Movie makers, NGO's founders including those from the sports sector also the president miss Nollywood Beauty pageant

Carol who also an actress and a Movie Producer in the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) with many movies produced by her, used the medium to thank those who has been partnering with her to feed the aged ones and paying them monthly stipends through the functional heart foundation since 2001 when she won the first ever Miss Niger Delta Beauty pageant.

The president Advocacy for Human strategic Change Initiative (NGO) Pst Esther Martins who was represented by her Director Media/Publicity secretary Mr Barakumo Solomon Odede also appreciated her Majesty Queen Carol Alfred for touching humanity using her (NGO functional heart foundation) even after her tenure as Miss Niger Delta 2001, saying Carol is one very dedicated lady with an extra ordinary soft heart for the less privileged, especially the elderly.

Also the president Yenagoa City Football Academy Coach Ada Gwegwe who was present thanked the Queen Mother who has impacted so much in the lives of the old people, saying he has been hearing so much about functional heart foundation but he never met the CEO in person, that this is how beauty Queens should be doing, affecting lives not to wear crowns and seat at home after winning that the beauty Queens this days only fight for the crown spending so much and after winning, you will never hear any good works been done by them except few. Ada who is the founder of the Bayelsa kids Cup competition that has trained a lots of young people from the street in football and exported them to Europe further appreciate the Ex Beauty Queen, saying she is a true beauty Queen with an exemplary leadership style.
