Ogun state, one of the thirty six states in Nigeria is situated in the south-western part of the country. Its capital is Abeokuta which is actually the largest city in the state and it consists of twenty (20) local government areas. Ogun state is also the ninth largest state by GDP and it is bordered to the east by Ondo state, to the west by Republic of Benin, to the south by Lagos and to the north by Oyo and Osun states. It is nicknamed ‘Gateway to Nigeria’.
