PMB knows deep down inside that his 1st four years were a failure. His recent statements show it. But does he have the capacity to choose a competent team?

You need a new approach to the emanagement of this country, fight your corruption but channel majority of your energy into development of this country and do not be sectional in your developmental policies. I don't care who and where your team are selected from, that does not guarantee prosperity all I care about is campetence and delivery.
May God give you the wisdom and power to do the right thing.

President Muhammadu Buhari says the Federal Government is doing its best to correct and reverse the terrible mismanagement the country has experienced in the past.

He said this on Wednesday when he received a delegation of non-career ambassadors, who came to the State House, Abuja, to congratulate him on his re-election, adding that he believes that “with some luck, our best will be good enough.”

He was quoted as saying this in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

President Buhari further stated that Nigeria was trying to live within her means, “so we can improve our lot,” adding that government was determined to upgrade the country’s profile, both locally and internationally.
He noted that it would be inexcusable for government not to take care of its Ambassadors in their various stations, hence the special attention being paid to the country’s foreign missions.

In response, Ambassador Ashimiyu Olaniyi, who spoke on behalf of delegation said the President’s election in 2015, and his recent re-election, are divine interventions in the affairs of the country.
“You are God-sent. You have always come on stage at the critical moments of our national history to right the wrongs of the past,” Olaniyi said.

He added that the President would be remembered “as an astute political leader who does not interfere in the political affairs of states,” noting that the singular quality has given credibility to all elections conducted since 2015.

The delegation submitted that apart from records of achievements in the three focal areas of securing the country, reviving the economy, and fighting corruption, his “integrity” is responsible for his victory.

The ambassadors appreciated the intervention funds that were released to various missions abroad, and pledged continued loyalty and support to the Buhari administration.

The presidency election inclusive. And also refusal to the employ the youth that past on merit into DPR but employed those who did not sit for exam talk more of attending interview, family, friends, towns people, pass or fail, yet, the stupid youth still voted for you while those you approved employment for will not be seen at the polling booths because they are children of politicians and the rich. what is more than this pa Buhari? Lets see how the vow of the reverse mismanagement correction will tilt to. Deceit in the high places by allowing cabals we did not vote for to fool Nigerians. How sad.

He should first address the security challenges in the nation especially that of the consistent herdsmen attacks. Otherwise, he should permit states to have their own police.

Interestingly, Buhari's management of the economy itself qualifies to be labelled terrible.!!

If a President really has the interests of this country at heart and the will and the proper knowledge of what to do, Nigeria is actually quite easy to put on the right path. It's just that our politicians never have the will, competence and heart to do what is right, even if what is right at times will hurt many in the populace now for longer term benefits. For eg

Removal of subsidy now and redirecting that money to quality and free primary school education for ALL kids nationwide has short term pain but long term benefit. We will see benefits in 10-20 years time - less kids for Boko haram, more intelligent kids that can plan their own destinies because they dream of a better future, less beggers on the streets, more economic activity, less underage voting etc.

He has been managing the country now for 4 years and has stolen another 4-year mandate. So he was not able to cure the mismanagement in 4 years and believes he will achieve it in another 4 years? That will be doable but absolutely dependent on those he appoints into key positions to drive whatever policies are formulated. He is himself an expired, ignorant, senile, old coot. However, if he and his handlers are able to source for and get the right persons (in line with federal character principles) whilst shelving their evil, greedy, selfish, thieving agenda to control/divert public funds and promote their ethnic/religious agenda, there may yet be hope. If he chooses to retain the current crop of ministers and other idiots like the NNPC GMD and co, then we are in for more of the same nonsense and even worse especially as he has no re-election to work towards.

We dey wait.

He's feeling funky now just because Nigerians voted for him. I hope someone will tell him that the reason he was voted for was to stop the criminal and looter Atiku from getting his stinky claws on our common patrimony.

Buhari isn't Nigeria's saviour. He's just a stop gap for the demonic and demented souls in PDP.
