Independent National Electoral Commission set to issue certificate of returns to National Assembly members elect today. The Name of Imo state governor and candidate of Apc is still missing from the list of senator elect. Okorocha, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was declared the senator-elect for Imo West senatorial district, having polled 97,762 votes to beat Jones Onyereri of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 63,117 followed by Sen. Osita Izunaso of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) with 30,923 votes. But the collation officer of the district, Prof. Innocent Ibeawuchi, claimed that he declared the APC candidate the winner over PDP’s Onyereri under duress.
