Real Madrid have secured the signing of FC Porto defender Eder Militao, who will progress toward becoming Zinedine Zidane‘s first recruit in his second spell at Madrid.



An official press release on the Real Madrid site confirmed the Brazilian will join on a six-year deal this summer, with the fee, with a buy-out clause in the player’s Porto contract, reported to be around €50m (£42.7m).

“Real Madrid and Porto have agreed on the transfer of the player Éder Militão, who will be linked to the club during the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025.”
